Run or walk, you can make a difference
Proceeds from this year’s LRH Run for Your Life Fun Run and Walk will go towards the hospital’s Allied Health Appeal, which aims to raise $500,000 over two years.
Money raised during this year’s event – through event sponsorship as well as entry fees - will be used to fund the purchase of much needed-equipment.
The hospital’s Allied Health services include prosthetics and orthotics, occupational therapy, speech pathology, social work, physiotherapy and dietetics.
Members of the Allied Health team are an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team that assist with a patient’s recovery from illness or injury.
